In some cases, it is determined to be more beneficial to have the servers and equipment that run the application located in the customers' office rather than at AScript. This is referred to as a Client-Server installation. The equipment is supported remotely through dial-up connections and the customer takes a more "active" role in maintaining the data, ensuring security, upgrading the hardware and software and maintaining the application.
